Mental Health During Pandemics: Klaus Lieb at „Critical Choices“ in Berlin

On October 12, 2026, Prof. Dr. Klaus Lieb (LIR) attended the event “Critical Choices – Beyond the Pathogen: The Social Dimension of Pandemics,” organized by the Global Health Hub Germany in Berlin.

The event focused on the role of mental health and psychosocial support in pandemic prevention and response. Following an interactive simulation exercise, an international panel discussion took place, during which Prof. Dr. Klaus Lieb joined international experts to discuss the psychological and societal impacts of public health crises.
